A finely Handcrafted Dao, beautifully hand polished sharp to the highest level with equally nicely polished fittings which are pinned to the wood scabbard in the traditional fashion. The blade with a clamshell edge profile, executed in a style dating back to the Ming period with fitting reminiscent of Qing high officials with the guard ringed by a bamboo shaped edge adding strength to the solid fittings.

Each sword in our Rodell Signature Collection is personally chosen by Scott M. Rodell not only for its functionality, but historical accuracy and high quality. The Swords in this Signature Collection are produce by hand in very limited quantities. Only 10 of these Bamboo Yanling Dao are available for pre-order.
