This Ming-style jian is designed with a thicker, performance-oriented profile, prioritizing strength and rigidity. The blade reaches a maximum thickness of 8 mm, paired with a 20 mm-wide full tang that extends all the way to the pommel.
The ring pommel is secured directly to the tang using a solid brass rivet, resulting in a highly reliable and durable structure. Thanks to the strong blade spine and rigid construction, the sword remains extremely stable in motion, with no noticeable vibration during swings.
